Solar panels are devices that convert sunlight into electricity. Panels by using semiconductor materials to generate direct current (DC) electricity when hit by sunlight. An inverter then converts this DC electricity into alternating current (AC), which can be used in your premises. The electricity is then used to power lights, equipment and other things.
