We’re delighted to have been nominated for the 2021 Employer of the Year Niche Business Award!
At Glenfield Electrical we have a long history with the Niche Business awards, winning the Trade & Construction business of the year award in 2017 as well as being ambassadors for this year’s edition too.
Being recognised with a nomination for employer of the year means a lot to us, especially as we have a strong focus on apprenticeships and training. 60% of our electricians have completed their apprenticeships with us or are currently underway on their journey to become a fully qualified electrician. We wouldn’t have it any other way either, because investing in young people is one reason we’re a dynamic company – without apprentices the knowledge of our whole industry slowly fades as electricians leave for other careers or take up retirement.
Not only that, our director Phil wants to foster a culture of making Glenfield Electrical a company people love working for. Our mission statement is “to provide a world class service and brighten up everyone’s day, so much so that our customers and our team members recommend us to all of their family and friends”. We can’t brighten up our customers’ days if we’re not happy and smiley ourselves.
The semi-finalists are announced in the first week of June, so here’s hoping we make it through 🤞
