Our marketing manager Joe is a member at BNI Foxes, a networking group in Leicester. The chapter meets at 10:00 on Tuesdays at Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
Visitors at the meeting get a chance to open network before sitting down for the member presentations part of the meeting. Each member has their own seat representing their proefessional category, ‘locking out’ others from the same industry, e.g Joe holds the electrical seat in the chapter. Visitors also get 60 seconds to discuss their business and the type of referrals that would help their business.
Then, one member each week has the opportunity to discuss their business in greater length in the 10 minute feature presentation.
Glenfield Electrical have benefited from BNI networking groups tremendously over the past decade, our director Phil Houlder was a member of the Olympus chapter for 7 years. BNI networking helped get Glenfield Electrical off the ground in the early years and we’ve since picked up £100,000s of business from originating from BNI chapters.
