The Story of IFM Electronic’s Office Fit Out
Located in Derby, IFM Electronic’s new office was set to become a state-of-the-art workspace designed to foster innovation and collaboration. The refurbishment project required electrical expertise, we were tasked with supplying, installing, testing and commissioning the electrical infrastructure to meet the high standards expected by IFM Electronic
Working closely with McFeggan Brown and other contractors, we worked on aphased approach to ensure seamless integration of our electrical solutions into the overall fit-out. Our team’s dedication and meticulous planning were crucial in bringing this project to life on time and on budget.
The Challenge
The IFM Electronic project was a significant undertaking, presenting unique challenges that required careful planning and execution. Contract manager Shaun, expertly tendered, designed and ran the project whilst Dave and Ellie took the installation lead.
The IFM Electronic Project included:
- Small power
- Floor box relocation
- Sockets
- Spurs
- Supply, installation, and relocation of new distribution boards and consumer units
- Installing power supplies for the mechanical works
- Installation of two 7 KW Rolec charge points
- Supply and installation of dado trunking
- Strip out
- Supply and installation of LED lighting
- Adjustments to the existing fire alarm
The Results
The project was completed on time and to the highest standards, ensuring that IFM Electronic’s new office space was fully equipped to support their operations and future growth.
