We first got introduced to Phil via a mutual connection on LinkedIn in 2020, since then we’ve worked together on dozens of projects. The main things for us is that Glenfield are really user friendly. We have to work around our clients in the fit-out sector and they understand this. They’re adaptable with their site visits which makes our lives a lot easier. Across all projects some issues and snags come up and it’s more about how you deal with them. You can always get a hold of Phil or the office number on the phone and they’re more than willing to help as they can. Plus, if you’re in a hole they’ll do their best to get somebody out as quickly as possible. We use Glenfield because they’re local to us but also willing to travel across the country as our projects are never in the same place. They’ve got a good number of staff so the timescales on quotes and completion of jobs works well for us. Another thing is they’re smartly presented – we liked their fleeces/uniforms so much we got our versions made up. As a school we have to tender out work over a certain value. We’ve seen some varying standards of work in the past but Glenfield Electrical were spot on from start to finish. From getting their quote we were really impressed with the level of detail and the options they offered for the outdoor LED lighting at Rushey Mead Academy. The warranties, the risk assessment and all the accreditations were comprehensive and the different options they offered on the quote were great. It wasn’t a case of here’s one option and one price. The quote had a few alternative options for lighting, and they found us some cheaper lights of an equivalent spec of what we were after, but with a better warranty which we took up. Over the few weeks the Glenfield lads were here they turned up exactly when we asked, on time and did exactly what we needed without a problem. The best thing I can say is it’s like we they weren’t even here apart from when Rhys nipped in for a coffee. There wasn’t a single complaint from the students or staff – not even a murmur. They minimised the disruption even though they were using a hammer action drill by only using it at certain times fitting around the school day. The ease and flexibility from start to finish was great, from site visit, to getting the quote, the risk assessment, to the guys getting on sight to the finished product was excellent. I had an unknown issue that shut off all my power, Dave & Ellie came out at the correct time and went about fault finding, quickly narrowing down the issue to a particular circuit, Checking all the linked sockets to find the culprit & checked for other issues, thankfully there were none, so they replaced the faulty socket and got us all up and running again. Upon purchasing my new electric vehicle, I was keen to get the home charging point installed quickly. Upon asking some friends, I was pointed to Glenfield Electrical. I emailed and was promptly booked in for a site survey. I felt reassured that the engineer knew what he was doing and was sent the full quote within the timeframes promised. I placed my order and despite some delays because of the suppliers of the hardware, I was kept up to date all the way through. Glenfield Electrical have been carrying out work for me for the last 3 years. In this time I have been very satisfied with all aspects of their work. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. One thing I really appreciate is that they have always ensured that any works are carried out by the same lead engineer. This has on occasion meant some juggling of dates. Amazing to find a company that exceeds your expectations. Glenfield did this in bucket loads. Contacted Glenfield Electrical amongst others, for a quote for a full rewire. Phil was punctual to arrive and gave some expert advice whilst assessing the job before subsequently providing the best quote by some margin. This is the first time I have used GE. Electric from house to garage and fix stair lights. The electric to garage was a bigger job than first thought but they kept to the price and did a excellent job. Light Switch was causing our boiler to turn off. Light fitting installed.
Punctuality was impressive. Given start time was 7.30 am and Rhys arrived on the dot to carry out the 4 jobs Glenfield Electrical had quoted me for. An internal light fitting was changed as was a light switch. A new garden shed was re-connected to the mains and an outside security light was added to the property. The standard of work was faultless. I was kept informed right through the day and was asked to check each item as it was completed. Rhys obviously took a great pride in his work and cleaned up all the areas he had been working in before he left. All done with a smile. Contact with the office was equally impressive. Great work, electrician was thorough and pleasant to do business with and went beyond the call of duty finding the electrical fault that was hidden to the point of even him being stumped. But he diligently worked through the system until he had found it.

Brilliant service from Philip, he really dug us out of a ditch. Had an issue with the wiring of a switch, Phil came as quick as he could and fixed the problem with a really friendly, professional and understanding manner. Brilliant from start to finish. I has Shaun come and assess my needs and quote on a Thursday, and the next day Reese turned up bang on time to complete the job. There was no mess left, which I have to say was a complete surprise as every other contracted I've used doesn't seem to do that! Will definitely be using these guys for all my future electrical needs.

We have just had new electrics fitted in our kitchen. Our fitters Ashley and Ethan were superb. Ashley came and did the completion today and was an absolute delight. Polite and friendly and very knowledgeable and completely tidied up when he had finished. Glenfield Electrical should be very proud that these lovely young men are the face of their company. The 2 electricians who completed the work of carrying out landlords safety certificates of 7 flats was efficient and first-class. Phil and his team were extremely helpful, polite and managed to complete the rewire in time for the moving date, despite issues created by the age of the house and how electrics had been installed by other electricians in the past. This is the first time I have used GE. Electric from house to garage and fix stair lights. The electric to garage was a bigger job than first thought but they kept to the price and did a excellent job. The second job was getting the lights to work on the stairs, they sorted this which means we can switch lights on and off both downstairs and upstairs. I will use them again. Many thanks.
I had a fault on a lighting circuit which I couldn't resolve. Glenfield Electrical attended within 24 hours, arrived on time and Lewis, their electrician, identified and repaired the fault within 30 minutes. A fast, friendly and efficient service!
Contacted Glenfield Electrical amongst others, for a quote for a full rewire. Phil was punctual to arrive and gave some expert advice whilst assessing the job before subsequently providing the best quote by some margin. The work was carried out by his team over a period of a couple of weeks. They kept me informed at all stages during the work, particularly where unforeseen complications arose, and clearly took pride in their profession.

We were recommended Glenfield Ltd and they did not disappoint. We moved into our house last September but didn’t realise quite how bad the electrics were. Initially two electricians started the job to totally re wire the house, but they soon realised that the initial estimate of time for the job was optimistic. Following a visit by the owner, there were at least four electricians at all times. The work has been done to a very high standard, with the minimal disruption and the team cleaned up as they went along, we are very happy. The guys were at all times punctual and friendly, with a special mention to Jordan for his efforts to finish the job on time. This was a big job that we feel was also excellent value for money, I would thoroughly recommend Glenfield Electrical.

I am grateful for another fast response from Glenfield Electrical to a fault that was causing my lighting circuit to trip. The fault was found and dealt with quickly and carefully. I asked them if they would complete another electricians work, I had been let down half way through a job. It was to wire up 2 pir sensors controlling 4 lights with over ride switches and a switch for kitchen lights, it was no problem for them, a price was given, the electrician turned up, sorted out how to connect did the job left it clean and tidy. Punctuality was impressive. Given start time was 7.30 am and Rhys arrived on the dot to carry out the 4 jobs Glenfield Electrical had quoted me for. An internal light fitting was changed as was a light switch. A new garden shed was re-connected to the mains and an outside security light was added to the property. The standard of work was faultless. I was kept informed right through the day and was asked to check each item as it was completed. Rhys obviously took a great pride in his work and cleaned up all the areas he had been working in before he left. All done with a smile. Contact with the office was equally impressive. All sockets and switches were fitted as asked, plus lighting. Trunking was fitted to cover all wiring and a new LED batten was fitted. The electrician was very helpful, even asking me if the positioning of everything was to my liking.
Needed a room rewiring quickly, I rang Glenfield electrical, and they were great. They turned up when they said they would, the two electricians who worked on the job were cheerful, friendly and most importantly, clean and tidy.
