Timeframes vary based on the building layout, the condition of the existing wiring and the extent of the work required. Most commercial rewires take between a few days to a couple of weeks. We’ll always provide a clear timeline after an initial assessment.
Not necessarily. In many cases, rewiring can be phased to allow parts of the building to remain operational. We’ll work with you to ensure business continuity wherever possible.
Yes. If a full rewire isn’t required, we can upgrade parts of your existing wiring to bring them in line with current regulations, including compliance with BS 7671 standards.
A commercial rewire typically involves removing old wiring, installing new cable routes, replacing sockets, lighting, distribution boards and ensuring the new system meets all safety and regulatory standards. Final testing and certification are provided once the work is complete.
Not all systems require a full rewire. If the existing wiring is in safe condition, selective upgrades may be enough. We’ll carry out an inspection and recommend the most appropriate and cost-effective option for your premises.
